That’s why I decided to share a bit of my journey and how I balance my work and life while building my online business.
The Truth: I Used to Be Burnt Out
Before I started my digital business, I was trapped in a daily cycle of stress and frustration. I woke up, tired, worked all day, came home exhausted, and felt like I had no time for myself.
Back then, I thought working hard meant success, but I was wrong.
Success without health, happiness, and freedom is not true success.
The Turning Point
When I learned about online business, I saw a new path a flexible way to earn an income that gave me time and freedom. I started slowly while still working my job, learning new things each day. Eventually, I replaced my job with something I could build from home.
But here’s the important part: It’s not just about money. It’s about lifestyle.
How I Balance Work and Life Today
Now that I run a digital business, here’s how I maintain a healthy routine:
1. I Set Clear Work Hours
Even though I work from home, I treat it like a job with start and stop times. After that, I step away from the computer.
2. I Take Breaks to Protect My Mental Health
If I feel stressed, I walk outside, listen to calming music, or stretch. I don’t force myself to "keep working" when my mind says no.
3. I Focus on What Matters
Instead of doing everything at once, I focus on one task each day whether it’s writing an email, replying to a customer, or updating my ebook.
4. I Practice Gratitude
Every night, I remind myself of one thing I’m thankful for. This helps me stay grounded, no matter how busy or slow the day was.
5. I Take Care of My Body
I steam sweet potatoes. I drink warm water in the morning. I do gentle stretching or simple breathing to relax my body. Small habits help me feel better every day.
