A Quiet Library Moment at Gallaudet University
During my journey, there was a simple moment that stayed with me deeply. I was walking alone toward the library at Gallaudet University. The path was quiet, and my steps felt slow and thoughtful. Walking alone gave me time to be present with my thoughts.
When I entered the library, the atmosphere changed immediately. It was calm and still. I found the books I had been looking for.
I've carried them to a table.
I sat down and began reading quietly, turning pages slowly and carefully.
As I read, my eyes drifted toward the window. Outside, snow was falling softly. The white snow covered everything gently and made the world look peaceful. While watching the snow, my thoughts went to someone I loved. Memories and feelings came naturally without effort.
I sat there quietly, thinking and feeling, letting the moment pass without rushing it.
After some time, I began to feel sleepy. My head lowered slowly toward the books on the table. The quiet space, the soft light, and the falling snow created a sense of comfort and calm. I rested there, surrounded by silence and thoughts.
This moment reminded me that journeys are not always loud or dramatic. Sometimes, the most meaningful moments happen quietly, in a library, with books, snow, and gentle memories.
