During the autumn season, Perth enjoys warm, sunny days and cooler nights, with average temperatures ranging from 13.7°C to 26°C (56.6°F to 78.8°F).

This house was a rental listed on Airbnb. It was clean, spacious, and comfortably cool. The property featured three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and a living room.

The estimated value of the house was around AUD 700,000, and the rental rate was A$267 per night.

This was the living room of our Airbnb stay in Perth. It had a simple, minimal design that felt both relaxing and welcoming. The space was very clean and well-maintained, with neutral-colored walls and cozy furniture that made us feel right at home.

Large windows allowed natural light to brighten the room during the day, while the cool indoor temperature made it a perfect place to unwind after exploring the city. Whether we were enjoying a quiet morning coffee or resting in the evening, the living room offered a peaceful and comfortable environment throughout our stay.

This was the bedroom I stayed in, which did not have an attached restroom. Still, it was a very nice and clean space simple yet cozy. The bed was comfortable, and the room was neatly arranged with soft lighting and enough space to store my belongings.

The peaceful atmosphere made it easy to relax and get a good night’s sleep after a full day of exploring Perth. It may have been a basic room, but it felt just right for a short and restful stay.

London Court is one of Perth’s most charming and distinctive attractions, nestled right in the heart of the city. This open-roofed shopping arcade is home to a variety of boutique shops, cozy cafes, and even office spaces, making it a lively spot for both tourists and locals.

What makes London Court truly stand out is its unique Tudor-style architecture something rarely seen in modern Australian cities. Walking through it feels like stepping into a little slice of old Europe, with decorative facades, wrought-iron balconies, and vintage-style clocks that add to its timeless charm. It’s a beautiful blend of history and commerce, offering visitors a visually rich and memorable experience.

This shop is part of London Court, a historic building constructed in 1937 by Claude de Bernales, a wealthy businessman and prominent gold financier. Its official opening on July 29th, 1937, was considered a major event in Perth’s history, marking the introduction of a unique European-inspired shopping arcade in the city.

The architecture and vision behind it reflected de Bernales’ ambition to bring a touch of old-world charm to Western Australia, and it remains a beloved landmark to this day.

There was a small staircase tucked along the side, and I followed it upward in a single direction. As I climbed, I noticed how narrow and charming the steps were, adding to the old-fashioned atmosphere of the place. Though it wasn’t a long climb, it felt like a quiet moment of transition from the lively buzz of the arcade below to a more peaceful, elevated view above. It gave me a brief pause to take in the details of the building’s unique architecture from a different perspective.

At the top of the stairs, I reached the landings of the second and third floors. These upper levels offered a quieter atmosphere, away from the activity below. The landings were lined with charming windows and old-style railings, giving a closer look at the Tudor-inspired architecture. From here, I could admire the details of the building’s design that aren’t as noticeable from the ground floor. It felt like stepping into another time, surrounded by character and history.

The shop was filled with a wide variety of souvenirs, each one offering a little piece of Perth to take home. From keychains, magnets, and postcards to handmade crafts and local products, there was something for every kind of traveler.

The shelves were neatly arranged, making it easy to browse and find unique gifts or keepsakes to remember the trip. It was the perfect place to pick up a small reminder of the experience.

The bag featured illustrations of koalas in various poses, each showing different and adorable body language. Some were hugging trees, others were sleeping, stretching, or looking curious and every pose captured their cuteness perfectly. The playful and expressive designs made the bag not only practical but also a charming souvenir that reminded me of Australia’s unique wildlife.

Mr. Shaver is a convenient one-stop shop that offers a wide range of products for shaving, trimming, hair clipping, and skincare. Whether you're maintaining a fresh look or upgrading your grooming routine, this store has everything you need in one place.

This beautiful and historic building was constructed in 1937, designed in the distinctive Tudor style. It was originally built for a wealthy miner and financier, reflecting both his success and his desire to bring a touch of European elegance to the heart of Perth.

There was a beautifully preserved old-fashioned lift just like this one. Its rich wooden doors, vintage buttons, and elegant detailing gave it a timeless charm that instantly caught my eye.

The decorative glass panel and classic "Up" and "Down" buttons added to its nostalgic feel, making it a rare and lovely feature in the building. It felt like stepping back in time a reminder of how even something as simple as an elevator can reflect the style and craftsmanship of a bygone era.

As I walked through the bustling city streets of Perth, I came across a striking bronze statue of a man frozen in a handstand, his hat placed on the ground below him. This charming figure is none other than Percy Button, a beloved character in Perth’s history.

Born in London in 1892, Percy left school at an early age to join the circus, where he trained as an acrobat. He eventually made his way to Perth in 1910, taking on various odd jobs before enlisting to serve in World War I. When he returned around 1918, Percy found it difficult to settle back into a stable life and began living as a vagrant in the city.

Despite the hardships, Percy’s spirit remained lively. He started selling newspapers on the streets, but his real talent couldn’t be hidden his acrobatic performances quickly drew attention. It wasn’t long before he became more famous for his street shows than for the papers he was selling.

Locals, affectionately known as Perthites, often paused to enjoy his spontaneous performances. With a warm smile and playful energy, Percy would entertain crowds with flips and handstands, earning not just admiration but also generous coins tossed into his hat.

Today, this statue stands as a tribute to his joyful presence in the city a reminder that even those who live on the fringes of society can leave a lasting mark through kindness, talent, and spirit.

Just beside the shop named West Elm, I noticed a lovely patch of greenery where bright red flowers stood out beautifully against large, glossy green leaves. The vibrant colors caught my eye immediately, offering a refreshing contrast to the modern storefronts and city surroundings.

It was a small but charming reminder of nature’s presence even in the heart of Perth’s urban landscape a perfect spot for a quick photo or a moment of quiet appreciation.

Perth Town Hall is celebrating its 150th anniversary by reflecting not only on the building’s rich history, but also on the cultural significance of the land it occupies to the Whadjuk Nyoongar elders. This meaningful celebration honors both colonial heritage and the deep, ongoing connection of the traditional custodians to this place.

At the entrance to Chinatown, on the edge of Northbridge, stood two striking white lion statues. Positioned on either side of the gateway, they served as traditional guardians, symbolizing protection and strength in Chinese culture. Their bold presence marked the beginning of a vibrant cultural area, inviting visitors to step into a space rich with Asian heritage, food, and community spirit.

This marked the official entrance to Chinatown, a symbolic gateway that welcomed visitors into one of Perth’s most culturally vibrant neighborhoods. The structure stood proudly, representing not just an entry point, but also the deep-rooted presence and contributions of the Asian community in the area. Passing through it felt like stepping into a lively blend of tradition, flavor, and heritage.

Located in Fremantle, Perth, Kailis Fish Market Cafe is a well-known waterfront spot famous for its fresh seafood and relaxed atmosphere. Set right by the harbor, it offers visitors the chance to enjoy everything from classic fish and chips to oysters, prawns, and other local catches all while soaking in beautiful views of the marina.

One of the highlights of my visit to Kailis Fish Market Cafe was definitely the fresh oysters and I absolutely loved them! Served chilled on a bed of ice, they were incredibly fresh, briny, and smooth, bursting with ocean flavor in every bite.

I enjoyed every moment, happily savoring each one as I looked out over the harbor. It was a simple yet unforgettable seafood experience that truly made my day in Fremantle special.

The seafood spread at Kailis Fish Market Cafe was absolutely mouthwatering. I had a delicious mix of squid, prawns, and oysters. All incredibly fresh and full of flavor. As a seafood lover, I was in heaven! Every bite reminded me why I enjoy seafood so much.

But at the same time, I reminded myself to be mindful especially when it comes to cholesterol, since some seafood can be high in it. It’s all about balance, so I enjoyed the meal with gratitude and moderation, making the experience both satisfying and health-conscious.

I was drooling just looking at the seafood in front of me! The platter of squid, prawns, and oysters looked absolutely irresistible fresh, perfectly cooked, and beautifully presented. As a seafood lover, I couldn’t wait to dig in. Every bite was a burst of flavor, and I savored it all with a big smile on my face. Even though I have to watch my cholesterol, moments like this are worth enjoying in moderation. It was truly a treat that made my visit to Kailis Fish Market Café unforgettable.

BAO Dumpling House is located inside Westfield Carousel Shopping Centre, one of the largest malls in Perth. Tucked among a variety of restaurants and cafes, this spot stands out for its flavorful, handmade dumplings and cozy atmosphere. Whether you're craving steamed, pan-fried, or soup-filled dumplings, it's a perfect place to stop for a satisfying meal while taking a break from shopping.

As you can see, Westfield Carousel is home to a wide variety of restaurants, offering something for every taste. From Asian cuisine to Western favorites, quick bites to cozy dine-in spots, the food court and dining areas are packed with options. It’s a great place to explore different flavors all in one location which is perfect for food lovers or anyone wanting to try something new after a day of shopping.

Among the many food options at Westfield Carousel, I came across a stall serving roasted chicken and pork. While both looked delicious, I personally preferred the chicken. It was tender, juicy, and had that perfectly crispy golden skin that’s hard to resist.

The aroma alone made my mouth water! I’ve always enjoyed chicken more. It feels lighter and more comforting, especially when paired with rice or noodles. It was a simple yet satisfying meal during my visit to the mall.

This fascinating creature is a Goodfellow’s Tree Kangaroo, a striking and rare species native to the mountainous rainforests of Papua New Guinea and parts of Indonesia. Unlike their ground-dwelling Australian kangaroo relatives, these animals are specially adapted for life in the trees. While they may appear slow and awkward on the ground, they are incredibly agile among the branches capable of leaping up to 9 metres from tree to tree, and even jumping down from heights of 10 metres with ease.

Each tree kangaroo is beautifully unique, with distinctive splotches and ring-like patterns on its tail. Sadly, this species is listed as endangered due to ongoing threats like habitat destruction from land clearing and hunting. Seeing one up close is a rare and humbling experience a reminder of how precious and fragile wildlife can be.

This impressive creature is the Grey-Headed Flying Fox, Australia’s second-largest species of flying fox and the only one native to the southeastern regions of the country. With its distinctive grey head and large wingspan, it’s a fascinating sight to see especially when gliding effortlessly through the air.

These flying mammals are surprisingly fast, capable of cruising at speeds of up to 35 kilometers per hour. Their diet mainly consists of figs, palm fruits, and eucalyptus blossoms, making them important pollinators in their ecosystem. Despite their size, they are gentle and social animals, often roosting in large colonies. Seeing one up close gives you a whole new appreciation for the wildlife unique to Australia.

This impressive reptile is a Lace Monitor, one of Australia’s largest lizards, capable of growing up to just over two metres in length. With its striking patterned skin and long, powerful tail, it’s truly an epic sight in the wild. Lace Monitors are known for their wide-ranging foraging habits and are often spotted near picnic spots, camping areas, and even farms, where they may raid nests for eggs or poultry.

They prefer wooded and forested environments and are excellent climbers often scaling large trees when they feel threatened or disturbed. Despite their size, they are shy and tend to avoid human interaction. Seeing one in person is both thrilling and a little humbling, a reminder of how diverse and fascinating Australia’s wildlife really is.

I saw a kangaroo during my trip to Australia, and it looked absolutely adorable! With its soft fur, big curious eyes, and gentle movements, it was hard not to fall in love at first sight. Whether it was hopping around or simply resting in the shade, the kangaroo had such a calm and peaceful presence. Seeing one up close was a heartwarming experience and a true highlight of my visit. No trip to Australia feels complete without meeting this iconic and lovable animal!

Penguins!!! I was so excited to see them. They were even cuter in real life than I imagined! With their little waddles, flapping flippers, and curious expressions, they were absolutely adorable to watch. Whether they were swimming gracefully in the water or walking clumsily on land, each moment was pure joy. It’s amazing how such tiny creatures can bring such big smiles. Watching them was one of the most unforgettable and heartwarming parts of my trip!

Wow! I got to watch a man demonstrating how to shear a sheep, and it was such an interesting experience! With skillful hands and quick movements, he carefully removed the sheep’s thick wool coat, all while keeping the animal calm and steady. It was amazing to see how much wool came off in one go. It almost looked like a fluffy blanket! The whole process was both educational and entertaining, and I couldn’t help but smile watching it. 😄
